Resilience Restore

Privacy policy

Last updated 2 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Resilience Restore Group Ltd collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are

Resilience Restore Group Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected on this website. We are a company registered in Scotland, company number SC858100. Registered office: The Glebe, Sinclair Street, Dunblane, FK15 0AH, United Kingdom.

For anything about your data, email owen.email@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you join the R.E.S.T.O.R.E. waitlist, we collect:

We also record that you joined, and when. If you open our emails or click their links, our email platform may record that, so we can see what is useful and stop sending what is not.

We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data such as health information.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your name and email address to:

We only use your mobile number for WhatsApp if you chose "Yes please" on the form. Email and WhatsApp are separate choices, and you can stop either one without affecting the other. To stop WhatsApp updates, leave the channel or reply STOP, or email us.

WhatsApp updates are sent as a one-way broadcast, so other subscribers cannot see your number. We will not add you to a WhatsApp group where other members could see your number without asking you first.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.

We will not sell your data, and we will not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it for us

We use two service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, and only on our instructions:

If you choose WhatsApp updates, your number and the messages we send are also handled by WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to your use of WhatsApp.

Some of their processing may take place outside the United Kingdom. Where it does, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as you stay on the waitlist. If you unsubscribe, we delete your details within 30 days, except for a record of your email address on a suppression list, which we keep so that we never email you again by mistake.

If you have not opened any of our emails for 24 months, we will remove you.

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as remembering your cookie choices and making forms function. Any other cookies, such as analytics, are only set if you agree to them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email us. We will reply within one month. There is no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
